Hi-Press Hydraulics Ltd was formed in 1974 as an Approved Distributor and Service Centre for Enerpac & Tangye hydraulic products. In 1996, Hi-Press Hydraulics Ltd opened a branch office in Kendal, Cumbria, primarily due to an increase in business from the nuclear industry.

The two Hi-Press Hydraulics Ltd locations now provide a national and international service, for the supply, service, hire and maintenance of an extensive range of both high and low-pressure hydraulic cylinders, pumps, valves, gauges, hoses, together with a range of ancillary equipment, including hydraulic nut splitters, hydraulic pullers, hydraulic torque wrenches, hydraulic work holding and hydraulic cutters.

At our Whaley Bridge Service Centre, we carry out repairs, testing and overhaul of hydraulic equipment and systems to manufacturers’ approved standards. We also have the facility to service and test your hydraulic equipment ‘onsite’ utilizing our mobile trailer.

In May 2010, Hi-Press Hydraulics Ltd was recognized as the first UK Authorized Enerpac Service Centre to attain the Level 1 Certification.

All work is carried out to the current ISO 9001:2015 Certification which Hi-Press Hydraulics Ltd obtained in 2001.  Experienced Enerpac trained engineers are always available to discuss products and applications.
